FlexTransit is operational but is currently experiencing a high demand for service. ECAT is actively working to expand service capacity to meet the demand, but FlexTransit scheduling may be limited for some users until services can be expanded. 

Priority is being given to rides for eligible individuals who qualify for ADA Complementary Paratransit Service and the Transportation Disadvantaged Program, which are programs for individuals with disabilities or those who do not have access to any other transportation resource

MTAC

The Escambia County Mass Transit Advisory Committee advises the Board of County Commissioners on mass transit issues in Escambia County, to help facilitate a community vision for mass transit in Escambia County and to assist the Board in developing and maintaining effective and efficient mass transit systems in Escambia County. The committee meets once a quarter.

On Dec. 6, 2018, Escambia County Board of County Commissioners approved the reinstatement of the Escambia County Mass Transit Advisory Committee, which was temporarily suspended by the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners on March 1, 2018.
