Due to Gallery Night on Friday, May 17, Route 32, Route 45 and Route 64 Beach Jumper will utilize detours from the Downtown Transfer Center beginning at 3 p.m.

Escambia County Area Transit will suspend all service, including the UWF trolleys, Wednesday, April 10, due to potential severe weather. Regular service will resume Thursday, April 11. Escambia County Community Transportation will also suspend regular service on April 10, except for dialysis and life-sustaining services. ECCT will resume service Thursday, April 11. Effective Friday, Feb. 23, through Sunday, Feb. 25, Routes 45 and 32 may experience longer commutes in the downtown area near and around the Pensacola Bay Center due to Pensacon. Commuters are expected to use caution and expect delays while traveling these routes.

During the Cox Christmas Parade Saturday, Dec. 9, in Downtown Pensacola, ECAT bus routes that normally go to the Downtown Transfer Center will detour to Government Street via A Street. Transfer Center stops will be made on the south side of Government Street via "A" Street.

In observance of Thanksgiving, ECAT administrative offices and customer service will be closed Nov. 23 and 24. Bus service will adjust for the holiday weekend.

During the Veterans Day Parade Saturday, Nov. 11, in Downtown Pensacola, ECAT bus routes that normally go to the Downtown Transfer Center will detour to Government Street via A Street. Transfer Center stops will be made on the south side of Government Street via "A" Street.

In recognition of Veterans Day on Saturday, Nov. 11, ECAT administrative offices and customer service will be closed Friday, Nov. 10. ECAT bus service and UWF trolleys will not run service Friday, Nov. 10. All routes will resume their current schedule Saturday, Nov. 11.

The "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk" is tomorrow, Oct. 28. Service to routes 32, 45, 61 and 64 Beach Jumper will be impacted due to road closures during the walk. Regular service will resume after Saturday.

The Pensacola Interstate Fair kicks off tomorrow! From Thursday, Oct. 19, to Sunday, Oct. 29, passengers on Route 47 may experience significant delays in their commute due to traffic congestion. Please be mindful if you are driving and use extreme caution as a pedestrian!

It's Pedestrian Safety Month!

Beginning Friday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m., service to Route 32, Route 45 and Route 64 Beach Jumper will be impacted due to road closures downtown.

Escambia County Area Transit will have a route detour on Saturday, Sept. 16, for the ROCK4VETS 5K Run. Transfer Center Stops will be made on the south side of Government Street near Coyle Street.

Escambia County Area Transit's paratransit partner, ITL Solutions, is currently experiencing internet and wi-fi outages, which is currently impacting the transit partner's phones, radios and tablets.

On Monday, Sept. 25, Escambia County Area Transit will begin hourly service to Baptist Hospital's new location on Brent Lane. Please exercise patience as we make every effort to ensure this change is seamless.

The UWF campus will close at 2 p.m. today due to the first home football game of 2023. Because of the closure, service for the UWF campus trollies will end at 3 p.m., and service for the UWF express trolley will end at 2:50 p.m. This will only affect trolley service for Friday, Sept. 1.

In observance of Labor Day, the Escambia County Area Transit services will be running on a modified schedule on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023. The only bus service operating will be the Pensacola Beach trolleys. Buses and the UWF Trolleys will not run. The ECAT Administrative Offices will be closed. All services will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Due to Gallery Night on Friday, Aug. 18, services for Route 32, Route 45 and Route 64 Beach Jumper will be impacted.

Due to construction along eastbound Olive Road, beginning at Harbor Square Drive, Route 43 will be making detours to access the Moorings Apartments. This is for Tuesday, July 18, and Wednesday, July 19, only.

The Pensacola Beach Island Trolley service has been canceled for Monday, July 10, due to severe weather impacting Escambia County. Pending the weather, the beach trolley service will resume on Tuesday, July 11, beginning at 4 p.m.

Due to extreme traffic on Pensacola Beach Friday, July 7, and Saturday, July 8, trolley service to the access road stops at Grand Marlin, Radical Rides, Laguna's, Quietwater Beach and the Boardwalk will be temporarily suspended until 6 p.m. each day.

On Saturday, July 1, ECAT bus routes will detour during the Ronald McDonald House Firecracker 5K Run. The detour will begin at 5 a.m. and continue until 12 p.m.

In observance of Independence Day Tuesday, July 4, ECAT administrative and customer service offices will be closed. We will only operate routes 59 Express, 64 Beach Jumper and the Pensacola Beach Trolleys. Normal service will resume Wednesday, July 5. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

To help alleviate traffic congestion for the Pensacola Beach Air Show, the Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA) is extending public transportation hours along the island on Friday, July 7, and is adding extra buses to the schedule on Saturday, July 8. On Friday, July 7, the SRIA’s three, free open-air trolleys will begin transporting customers starting at 7:30 a.m. and extend their service to Park East, located a mile east of Portofino Resort, until 6 p.m. Following that, the regular route will resume until midnight.

The Santa Rosa Island Authority will launch their free, open-air trolley service along Pensacola Beach this Memorial Day weekend, beginning Friday, May 26. The 2023 Pensacola Beach Island Trolley, operated by Escambia County Area Transit, will run daily from 4 p.m. to midnight through Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 4.

Service to routes 2, 31, 32, 45, and 61 will be impacted due to today’s Fiesta Five Flags 5K and 10K events. Please use caution in the affected areas.

Escambia County Area Transit will undergo upgrades to our generator. During this time, there will be minimal power to our facility. This may greatly affect our Customer Terminal. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience as we improve our system.

Due to Fred Levin Way Fest 2023, Route 64 Beach Jumper will not service bus stops along Government Street between Jefferson Street and Palafox Street. Passengers will be able to access this route on Garden Street at Jefferson Street.

On Saturday, Feb. 25, three ECAT bus routes will either be delayed or out of service due to the funeral services for longtime ECAT bus operator, Emmit James Smith, Jr.
