In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, please note the following ECAT service changes: - ECAT administration and customer service offices will be closed - ECAT will not run regular service or UWF Trolley service. - FlexTransit will only provide life-sustaining services. Due to overwhelming call volume, ECAT is currently experiencing intermittent issues with the FlexTransit phone line. We are working to address the issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, customers are encouraged to contact ECAT at [email protected]. All approved ADA and Transportation Disadvantaged clients will receive priority when booking trips. ECAT apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the public’s patience while we work to resolve this matter.

Escambia County Area Transit has been notified by ITL Solutions, the vendor providing paratransit services for ECAT customers, that they will be ending operations with ECAT effective Monday, Dec. 22 at 2 a.m.

In observance of Labor Day, ECAT Administrative and Customer Service Offices will be closed. ECAT will not run regular bus service, FlexTransit service, or UWF trolley service on Monday, Sept. 1. Pensacola Beach Trolleys will operate on Monday, Sept. 1 from 4 p.m. until midnight. Regular ECAT service will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

In observance of Veterans Day tomorrow, Nov. 11, ECAT and the UWF Trolleys will not run service, and FlexTransit will only run life-sustaining services. ECAT's administrative and customer service offices will be closed. ECAT will resume normal operations Wednesday, Nov. 12.

In observance of Independence Day, ECAT Administrative Offices and Customer Service will be closed on Friday, July 4.

The Firecracker 5K will take place in downtown Pensacola Saturday, June 28. During that time, service to all ECAT routes downtown will be detoured.

In observance of Juneteenth, the following changes will be made to ECAT's schedule on June 19.

In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, ECAT will not run regular bus service or FlexTransit service. Pensacola Beach Trolleys will operate on Monday, May 26 from 4 p.m. until midnight. Regular ECAT service will resume on Tuesday, May 27.

Escambia County Area Transit will resume operations Saturday, Jan. 25, with temporary modifications to the normal fixed route. Due to potential hazardous conditions from Tuesday's winter storm, buses may be delayed or detoured.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 20, Escambia County Area Transit Administration and Customer Service will be closed. ECAT buses and the UWF trolleys will not run Jan. 20. Normal service will resume Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Due to the Wingman Foundation 5K, service to all downtown routes will be detoured. Please adhere to the parade route detour.

In observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 2, Escambia County Area Transit administrative offices and customer service will be closed. ECAT buses and the UWF trolleys will not run service.

The Disaster Dash 5K in downtown Pensacola is tomorrow, June 15. During the 5K, service to all routes downtown will be detoured.

Due to Gallery Night on Friday, May 17, Route 32, Route 45 and Route 64 Beach Jumper will utilize detours from the Downtown Transfer Center beginning at 3 p.m.

Escambia County Area Transit will suspend all service, including the UWF trolleys, Wednesday, April 10, due to potential severe weather. Regular service will resume Thursday, April 11. Escambia County Community Transportation will also suspend regular service on April 10, except for dialysis and life-sustaining services. ECCT will resume service Thursday, April 11. Due to the solar eclipse occurring on Monday, April 8 at approximately 1:55 p.m., service delays may occur. Passenger and driver safety is of the utmost importance, and delays in service are possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Effective Friday, Feb. 23, through Sunday, Feb. 25, Routes 45 and 32 may experience longer commutes in the downtown area near and around the Pensacola Bay Center due to Pensacon. Commuters are expected to use caution and expect delays while traveling these routes.

Due to inclement weather, Escambia County Area Transit will suspend service early today, Jan. 8.
