FlexTransit is operational but is currently experiencing a high demand for service. ECAT is actively working to expand service capacity to meet the demand, but FlexTransit scheduling may be limited for some users until services can be expanded. 

Priority is being given to rides for eligible individuals who qualify for ADA Complementary Paratransit Service and the Transportation Disadvantaged Program, which are programs for individuals with disabilities or those who do not have access to any other transportation resource

Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) announced the launch of ‘Your Service, Your Say,’ a 10-year Transit Development Plan to reimagine the future of public transportation. To kick off this initiative, ECAT is inviting current riders to participate in an online survey that will identify transportation needs, priorities, and future transit demands throughout the community.
