FlexTransit is operational but is currently experiencing a high demand for service. ECAT is actively working to expand service capacity to meet the demand, but FlexTransit scheduling may be limited for some users until services can be expanded. 

Priority is being given to rides for eligible individuals who qualify for ADA Complementary Paratransit Service and the Transportation Disadvantaged Program, which are programs for individuals with disabilities or those who do not have access to any other transportation resource

ECAT to Resume Regular Schedule and Fares on Monday, Jan. 25

ECAT (Escambia County Area Transit) will resume running a regular schedule on most routes and reinstate regular fares on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, which were suspended since Monday, March 23. Face masks will also be required to ride ECAT beginning Monday, Dec. 21.

Free face masks have been provided since June 1 and will continue to be available. Face masks will also be required to ride ECAT beginning Monday, Dec. 21.
