FlexTransit is operational but is currently experiencing a high demand for service. ECAT is actively working to expand service capacity to meet the demand, but FlexTransit scheduling may be limited for some users until services can be expanded. 

Priority is being given to rides for eligible individuals who qualify for ADA Complementary Paratransit Service and the Transportation Disadvantaged Program, which are programs for individuals with disabilities or those who do not have access to any other transportation resource

ECAT will suspend service Wednesday, Oct. 28 starting at 3 p.m. ECAT will be available to assist in transportation needed prior to 3 p.m. Bus service for Thursday, Oct. 29 will be determined, based on the road conditions, including any downed trees and power lines.

Escambia County Community Transportation (ECCT) will run regular service on Wednesday, Oct. 28 until 3 p.m. Any service after 3 p.m. will be for life-sustaining or emergency services. Please call ECCT at 850-595-0501 for additional information.
