FlexTransit is operational but is currently experiencing a high demand for service. ECAT is actively working to expand service capacity to meet the demand, but FlexTransit scheduling may be limited for some users until services can be expanded. 

Priority is being given to rides for eligible individuals who qualify for ADA Complementary Paratransit Service and the Transportation Disadvantaged Program, which are programs for individuals with disabilities or those who do not have access to any other transportation resource

Following President Biden's Dec. 2 announcement that masks will continue to be required aboard public transit systems until March 18, 2022, ECAT (Escambia County Area Transit) would like to remind patrons that face masks are required aboard all buses and in indoor bus terminals and other transportation hubs.
